In this work, we investigate the global stability of the following fourth-order rational difference equation xn+1 = xb nxn−1xb n−3 + xb n + xn−1 + xb n−3 + a xb nxn−1 + xn−1xb n−3 + xb nxb n−3 +1+ a , n = 0, 1, 2, ... (1) where a, b ∈ [0,∞) and the initial values x−3, x−2, x−1, x0 ∈ (0,∞).
