Asymptotic stability and stabilizability of nonlinear discrete-time control systems with multiple state and control delays are considered. New Gronwall-type inequalities are derived for discrete-time systems and are used in the analysis of stability. The nonlinearities are assumed to be of Hölder type and bounds on them are used in the derivations. Several examples given illustrate the main results.
