In this paper we consider the following nonlinear wave equation (1) where , , , are given functions and , are given constants. In Eq. , the nonlinear term depends on the integrals , . In this paper we associate with Eq. a recurrent sequence defined by (2) , , with satisfying . The first term is chosen as . If and , we prove that the sequence converges at a rate of order to a unique weak solution of problem (1).
